Mister Ji told Han Sen that the Jade Scale Snakes were a very powerful lower race. They were strong enough to challenge the higher races of the geno hall, but they failed to extinguish the lantern. The higher race they challenged almost killed all of the Jade Scale Snakes.
This Green Scale Armor was created by a higher race, using the xenogeneic Green Scale Snake he had slain. It ended up in the hands of the Demon, and Mister Ji was the one who obtained it.
This trip to Demon Grave was very important, and it was rare to find someone like Han Sen to help. No treasure was more important than the success of the trip.
After accepting Mister Ji's invitation, Han Sen learned that not just anyone could enter Demon Grave.
After Demon Grave was formed, a few of the higher races came to an agreement. Every time Demon Grave's entrance opened, they could send people in. But there was a limit to how many people could enter.
The Demon were one of the higher races that signed the agreement. They were allowed four people to enter Demon Grave, and Mister Ji wanted to take two of the four spots.
So, Mister Ji only had two spots. Aside from himself, he could only bring one other person with him.
Mister Ji was going to bring his maid with him, but after seeing Han Sen in the town, he changed his mind. He wanted to bring Han Sen with him.
Mister Ji wasn't stupid, and he wasn't worried that Han Sen wouldn't do his best.
The maid was an Earl, and the Demons would have other Nobles waiting for them. If Han Sen could protect Mister Ji and escape, that would be a good thing.
But if Han Sen came out alone, it would be very difficult for him to make it out alive.
The entrance to Demon Grave was near Planet Kate. Because it wasn't time to open yet, Mister Ji decided to wait there. He wanted to watch the Taurus attack Planet Kate, but he didn't expect to run into Han Sen.
After two days, Mister Ji took Han Sen away from Planet Kate. They didn't leave the planet's orbit, though.
The entrance to Demon's Grave was on one of the two satellite planets of Planet Kate. Because of the fight, there was a lot of turbulence going on inside. Elites were suppressed, and they couldn't withstand the turbulence. They could have been killed before they even entered. So, they had to wait until the turbulence was weak and get out before it was strong again.
Han Sen followed Mister Ji to the base that the guardians had built there. He didn't see any of the other higher races. The guardians of the base told him that the other higher races, including the other mister of the Demon, had entered Demon Grave the day before.
Mister Ji took Han Sen out of the base and into the barren planet. He told Han Sen that he was late on purpose, so he did not enter Demon Grave with the others.
Planet Kate's satellite was about the same size as the moon. It wasn't a big planet, and it was very barren. Aside from some cacti, there was nothing but sand.
But after walking out of the base, they noticed that the desert was endless. It was like they weren't on a satellite anymore. They were on a continent with no end in sight.
Han Sen knew they had entered Demon Grave. This was the result of the xenogeneic space twisting and stretching.
Mister Ji kept walking, and as he spoke to Han Sen, he said, "We are now inside Demon Grave. There is something I must tell you."
"Sure."
Han Sen wasn't surprised. Mister Ji wasn't going to tell him everything until he was sure that Han Sen was going to enter Demon Grave with him.
"This time, I am going to Demon Grave to pick up some special fruit. We will need to go deep into the heart of the Chaos. You must be prepared," Mister Ji said.
Han Sen shrugged and didn't say anything. Even if Mister Ji hadn't said anything, he had already expected this. Otherwise, Mister Ji wouldn't have spent so much money and taken such a risk to invite Han Sen.
That meant Mister Ji wasn't confident in his mission, and that was why he was willing to take the risk of inviting an outsider like Han Sen.
"In Demon Grave, we are one life. If you die, I die. If I live, you live. So, if you have something to say, just say it. I don't want anything to go wrong," Mister Ji said.
Han Sen smiled and said, "Don't worry, Mister Ji. This is a trade. You pay, and I pay. Don't worry. We humans have professional ethics."
When Mister Ji heard Han Sen say that, he didn't say anything else. He led Han Sen deeper into the desert.
After walking for a while, Han Sen felt as if he was sick. He felt weaker and weaker, and after walking for a few dozen miles, he was exhausted.
"Demon Grave suppresses outsiders. Our power and bodies are weakened. You have to be careful. If you see the Chaos, try to avoid them. Don't fight them head-on."
Mister Ji wasn't doing much better, either. He was sweaty, and it looked as if he was having a hard time walking.
After walking for more than ten miles, a patch of greenery appeared in the desert ahead. The two of them quickened their pace and walked over. Sure enough, they saw an oasis there.
"It looks like we are on the right track. This is an oasis on the map. If I am not mistaken, we can pick up some xenogeneic fruits there." Mister Ji, seeing the oasis, looked excited.
But the two of them still approached the oasis carefully. They didn't want to run into the Chaos.
Mister Ji told Han Sen not to worry about the higher races that had entered Demon Grave before him. The path he was taking was very dangerous, and it led straight to the heart of the Chaos. He didn't think the others would take this route.
After the two entered the oasis, they discovered that there were many grape-like plants growing in this small oasis. They were full of purple-red fruits, which were so heavy that the branches were almost bent to the ground. It was a scene of a bountiful harvest.
"Are these all xenogeneic fruits?" Han Sen asked, looking at the grapes in shock.
"No. These are just ordinary fruits. Look around. There are some crystal-like fruits that you can't eat. Those are xenogeneic fruits," Mister Ji said.
Han Sen followed the vines, and after a while, he saw a bunch of very special grapes.
Just like Mister Ji said, the fruits looked like they were made of crystal. They glowed like jade.
Han Sen wanted to go and pick the xenogeneic grapes, but he suddenly felt a sense of danger. He took a step back and looked at the vines.
